New Things I did This Year

Every year at the end of the year I write a list of all the things I accomplished this year that I've never done before. So, if you care, here it is:

1. Got married

2. Owned a house

3. Owned a Jack Russell

4. Went lobster trapping

5. Got my caricature drawn

6. Gone to Philly and back by myself, rode Amtrak

7. Traveled for business, stayed in a hotel alone

8. Wrote professional book reviews for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association

9. Wrote/edited for a pharmaceutical blog/magazine

10. Saw Aerosmith in concert

11. Saw Conan O’Brien live

12. Met/interviewed the cartoonist who does the Ziggy comics (Tom Wilson Jr)

13. Figured out the frigging subway system, rode the subways by myself!

14. Eaten at a Good Burger, which I didn’t even know was a real place

15. Owned and decorated my first Christmas tree (yes I had one as a kid but I didn’t OWN that one)

16. Got an autographed Denis Leary book!
